Cheer season one introduced fans to Navarro, the junior college in Corsicana, Texas that is known for its elite cheerleaders. From the tough head coach Monica Aldama to fan favorites like Gabi Butler and Morgan Simianer, the show followed the cast's rigorous training for the annual NCA Championship at Daytona. After Navarro won another title at the competition in 2019, the squad got a lot of attention from fans and celebrities alike, even getting a guest spot on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Monica Aldama
Monica Aldama is the head coach at Navarro College and she returned for Cheer season two. She is busy getting ready for the 2022 NCA Championship, which will likely be featured on Cheer season three. Monica also released a new book about her life in the cheerleading world, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the show.
Gabi Butler
Gabi Butler has continued cheering since leaving Navarro and she is now on the Weber State University cheer team in Utah. She will be performing in Cheer Live, which gives fans a closer look at some of the best routines from the Cheer cast. She has her own YouTube channel with 116K subscribers, as well as a fitness training app. She is dating another cheerleader named Kollin Mark Cockrell.
Morgan Simianer
Morgan will be joining Gabi and several other Navarro alums for Cheer Live. She is dating her long-term boyfriend, Stone Burleson. Morgan has over one million followers on Instagram and has appeared in several collaborations with brands like Conair and CVS Beauty.
Lexi Brumback
Though Lexi still loves tumbling and cheerleading, she said that her real passion is art. She has a YouTube channel that she is starting back up, and has gotten involved with live art shows and makeup tutorials. Lexi also has her own clothing line and an art Instagram account, where she shares some of her favorite creations. She is currently dating digital creator, Dominic Green.
La'Darius Marshall
After La'Darius's blowout with coach Monica, the pair patched up their relationship, but he has moved on from Navarro. La'Darius also said that he is retiring from cheering. He is now living in Pensacola, Florida, and is coaching at Cheer Athletics.
Jerry Harris
Jerry Harris was arrested in September 2020 and he has been in a Chicago correctional center ever since. Jerry has not been convicted yet, but he recently entered a guilty plea for one of the charges, which is soliciting inappropriate photos from a minor. Cheer fans are awaiting the outcome of his trial.
