There are countless examples of Homelander overpowering others Supes in The Boys, and his incredible strength comes down to one important factor.

Homelander, The Deep, Black Noir, Maeve and Starlight from The Boys

Homelander has maimed or murdered many other supes over the three seasons of The Boys, and there is one very significant reason he is so much stronger than the rest of them. As the leader of The Seven, it's been well-established that there is nobody who can match Homelander's combination of powers - super strength, super hearing, flight, extreme durability, and heat vision, along with a healthy dose of sociopathic tendencies. Homelander has, on multiple occasions, even managed to overpower or escape the attacks of multiple supes at once.

Homelander is uniquely strong for a reason. While most supes possess some form of super strength and durability in addition to their own unique abilities, very few approach the levels of Homelander. Normal individuals enhanced by Temp-V have not (so far) displayed any power levels beyond the average supe. While The Boys themselves are still working on a plan to kill Homelander once and for all, there might not be a solution. However, there is one supe in The Boys that might stand a realistic chance of putting an end to Homelander's reign of terror once and for all.

Homelander Is The Boys' Strongest Supe Because Vought Created Him

Like all supes, Homelander was created using Compound V, the serum created by Frederick Vought with the intent of creating super soldiers for the Nazi Third Reich during WWII. Frederick Vought's early versions of the serum were much purer and concentrated than modern doses, which likely explains the long life spans of Stormfront and Soldier Boy, two of the earliest Compound V subjects. The fact that Homelander was created from Soldier Boy's DNA means his system likely had some manifestation of Compound V from his conception. In an attempt to create a replacement for Soldier Boy, Vought exposed Homelander to an extremely high dose of Compound V, resulting in his unique power set.

A supe's strength level is directly related to how much Compound V they are exposed to, so a high concentration of Vought's best version of the serum would lead to immense strength. A more diluted version (that was likely cheaper to produce) is what was widely distributed to infants and children across the country, resulting in the plethora of minor supes. Vought's involvement in creating supes is largely a secret, and injecting infants and children with the serum helps maintain the illusion that super abilities occur naturally in certain children.

How Much Stronger Homelander Is Compared To Other Supes

Very few of the modern supes even come close to Homelander's strength, although Maeve (who was also exposed to a higher dose of Compound V) has proven that she can at least hold her own temporarily. The only hero who has had Homelander on the ropes is Soldier Boy, whose strength and level of invulnerability are shown to be comparable to Homelander's in their two hand-to-hand fights. His unique ability to produce a blast that eliminates super abilities may have given him an advantage over Homelander, although it seems unlikely that viewers will ever see that come to fruition.

The one hero who might be as strong as Homelander is his son Ryan. Ryan shares the same set of powers as Homelander, and there have been multiple examples of Ryan exhibiting strength levels far above and beyond the average supe. For example, his laser eye blasts critically injured Stormfront, who was Frederick Vought's original Compound V subject and is considered immensely powerful. Like his father, his most powerful displays have come on the back of extreme anger and rage, and if Homelander were to become the target of that rage he may find himself outmatched.
