An artwork shared by Kohei Horikoshi’s assistant shows Uraraka and Toga fighting, in a possible preview of their upcoming battle in My Hero Academia.
The relationship between Ochako Uraraka (Uravity) and Himiko Toga is one of the most interesting ones in My Hero Academia. A drawing shared by one of the assistants of the series creator, Kohei Horikoshi, offers a glimpse of what the final clash between the two ladies might look like.
The connection between Ochako Uraraka and Himiko Toga was first formed during the villain's siege of the young heroes' summer training camp. A Toga who had just entered the League of Villain met Uravity in the thick of the forest and at first expressed jealousy for her closeness to Izuku Midoriya. A one-sided sympathy then began on the part of Toga, who later used Uraraka's power to beat Curious, one of the leaders of the Meta Liberation Army. Himiko even admitted she loves Ochako at one point, though it’s decidedly unclear in what way.
However, after witnessing Twice's murder at the hands of Hawks, Himiko sought answers from Ochako and, unsatisfied with what she heard, was prepared to kill her. At the end of this confrontation, Toga escaped but was devastated by Ochaco's words. With the final battle between the heroes and villains starting, it has now become clear that Uraraka and Himiko Toga will face off in the very last phase of My Hero Academia. The last chapters of My Hero Academia seem to confirm this thesis, with Toga and Uraraka who will be against each other in the final battle after the division of forces. One of the assistants of Kohei Horikoshi, the author of the manga, has already decided to make this battle a reality. Nagatomo's Toga VS Uraraka fan art has made the rounds of the internet, as he is now used to drawing following the style of his sensei. Nagatomo perhaps has also a sense of what’s going to happen in the manga, as his art shows Uraraka ready to attack while Toga seems almost embarrassed by her proximity.
It will be interesting to see how the confrontation between Uraraka and Toga will play out. Both harbor feelings for Midoriya, but they have completely opposite views of the world. Toga is a sadist with a very twisted perception of love and friendship, while Uraraka is a gentle girl who mostly cares about others. Their upbringings were also very different, as Uraraka was somewhat privileged while Toga grew up with emotional abuse.
